We tell you who we are in an original way. We do it with a photographic reportage of the label's founder and record producer, of those who are part or have been part of the label, contributing to its growth and describing everything to you;)

Generally it is difficult to describe oneself, but I find it very easy to do so, when I have to describe my profession.
In a time in which "artistic musical self-production" characterizes the evolution of the record industry that tends to adapt, the Dr Dream music label, remains tied and firm to sound principles!
We believe that: If record industry means not only Editing, distributing a song but, rather, believing in an artist, in his uniqueness, in his charisma and above all in the ability to be that famous "Conductor of emotions between music and the listener", then it means that all this requires experiences, passions and times like any other professional, in any profession requires to get to acquire a total MASTERY OF THE INSTRUMENT that for a singer is not the voice but is "The Body".
The Meritocratic and artistic concept is the basis of the choices that our label carries forward. Untied from today's musical fashions, while offering (in part) products that the same time requires, Dr invests and creates artistic projects not tied to age standards that are necessarily youthful, but rather on the excellence and depth that the artist can already present or in which he perceives himself to have it and therefore starting from creating the character!
In addition to the Meritocratic aspect, our record company wanted to give importance to being a point of reference and CONSULTANCY for every artist who, in self-production of music, needs to understand "How much and if his musical product is right and has the necessary characteristics to be a hit or a successful project!!!
We believe that before being able to think about editing, distributing a musical project/product, it is important to be able to have advice from experts in the sector so as not to waste time and burn stages that could be avoided with simple measures perhaps. Only following a serious, honest and professional advice that we deliver in written form to every artist, can you think of being able to continue with our record company or with others, in a more convinced way.
The history of the Record Company "Dr Dream Records Music Label", today, is the result of 30 years of life in the music of the founder and record owner: Gianluca Belmonte.
Along the path of professional life to tell, but let's mention the beginnings when, since he was little (4 years old) he already carried with him fixed tape walkmans behind him and a pair of headphones fixed on his head.
He continues believing listening to rock music with childhood friends creating a great baggage of musical listening.
At the age of about 10 years old, glued to the TV behind the Deejay Television and a die-hard fan of his cousin who worked in Mediaset but was a discoring as a pop singer of the 80s, he begins to be passionate about musical instruments and begins to start from the age of 13 throughout Italy to buy or legendary Synth Dx 7 IIFD, Roland D 50, Korg M1, Poly 800 and many others. His room becomes a studio already in 1986..1990.
From 1990 to 1996, he spent 6 years of live music on tour with his Pianobar, live music on stages and in 2002 he ended up replacing a session musician in Raf's live show. 1997, while continuing his studies, he opened a shop selling musical instruments and records! Fantastic, his kingdom!
He spent the whole day working and even the long nights in his paradise. From 1990 and then from 1997, his activity in music has never stopped and to date 2024 he has been active in music for 34 years despite being around 49 years old today.
Before opening Dr, he worked for quite a few important and less important labels as an artistic director, scouting manager, sound engineer. In all of them he has always been able to seize the opportunity to broaden his knowledge with humility and competence. Under other labels, he brought around Italy up to Sardinia a new talent "Italenti Net" with guests also nationally famous artists such as Iskra Mennarini, obtaining great successes. That experience and that baggage that he is equipped with today, humbly, becomes only the intention to transmit it to new emerging artists with the sole thought that "NOTHING HAPPENS AND ARRIVES WITHOUT SACRIFICES, TENACITY, ABILITY BUT, EVEN MORE, WITHOUT LOVE FOR WHAT YOU DO! WHATEVER THE SECTOR!
